About Wordles.org
We are a small team of word game enthusiasts who built this site because one puzzle a day was never enough.
What Is Wordles.org?
Wordles.org is a free, browser-based word guessing game built for people who find one puzzle a day nowhere near enough. If you have ever finished the daily Wordle in two minutes and spent the rest of the morning wishing you could play again, this is the site you were looking for.
The core mechanic will feel immediately familiar: guess a hidden word in six tries, and let the green, yellow, and gray tiles guide you toward the answer. What changes here is that there is no waiting. You can play as many rounds as you like, switch between word lengths from four to nine letters, create custom puzzles to challenge friends, or simply practice until guessing efficiently becomes second nature.
Why We Built This
We built Wordles.org out of a genuine love for word games. The original Wordle proved that a simple, well-designed puzzle can captivate millions of people, and we wanted to extend that experience rather than replace it. Most of us on the team still play the official daily puzzle every morning. Wordles.org exists for the hours in between.
There is also an educational angle we care about. Vocabulary grows through repetition and exposure. Playing one five-letter puzzle every twenty-four hours is enjoyable, but playing dozens of varied-length puzzles over the course of a week builds a noticeably broader word sense. We wanted a tool that could serve both casual players and anyone actively trying to improve their language skills.
What Makes Us Different
- ∞Unlimited roundsNo daily cap, no cooldown timer. Start a new game the moment you finish the last one.
- 4–9Multiple word lengthsChoose from four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine letters to match your mood and skill level.
- ✎Custom word puzzlesPick any word, generate a shareable link, and send it to friends. They guess your word and you see how they do.
- $0Free, and staying freeThis is a passion project. There is no subscription, no premium tier, and no paywall planned. Play as much as you want at no cost.
A Note on the Original Wordle
Wordles.org is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the official Wordle game or The New York Times. Wordle is a trademark of The New York Times Company. We are independent enthusiasts who built a separate practice tool inspired by the same concept. If you love the original, keep playing it — we do too.
